I went through some FAQs but did not find an answer in Licensing section.
As we are in process of developing CSTA/TSAPI applications to do a Screen-Pop on incoming calls and also making outbound calls.
And our customers will buy Avaya CM/AES hardware platform.
What licenses our customers would need in order to run our CSTA/TSAPI applications?
Thanks for help.
Regards,
Saeed

Hello Guys,
We are getting too many CSTA_MONITOR_ENDED events and everytime then use cstaMonitorDevice(...) for each device to get CSTA events.
We are using BDE (i.e. ACS/CM virtual machines VMWARE on 'Powerful' development machine).
Any idea please?
Regards,
Saeed

Yes - we are using BDE and AES/CM on VMWare which all reside on my 'Powerful' development machine.
Would you please share the link/url to open a ticket?

Hello Guys,
We have successfully installed AES/CM licenses as explained in License Update Instructions and restarted the VMs.
But when we run Aura BDE to launch softphones - it's still asking to "Enter your Serial Number".
Where we can find this Serial Number?
Regards,
Saeed

Hello Guys,
I have developed TSAPI based TelephonyServer and trying unit testing for automated build process.
I would appreciate any help on unit testing TSAPI functions (e.g. acsOpenStream etc.).
May I ask if this is possible or anyone has done this?
Regards,
Saeed

VMware Workstation has AES + CM and never touch them after they are started.
Then opened DADS console, goto Phones => 8434 and launched two softphones, and stuff keeps working happily for a while.
Then softphones for some reason can't make any calls and restarting the DADS console results
Could not connect: Could not get I/O (Connection refused: connect) (vfm # 0)

After restarting the VMs, I have run the command and it's printing root 3353 and all happy stuff.
As usual, I am running only one instance of DADS console, it's working fine as VMs were restarted but will be bad soon.
Both VMs have their own cores assigned.
Hope "DADS console" is the software which throws below
Could not connect: Could not get I/O (Connection refused: connect) (vfm # 0)

VMware® Workstation
8.0.4 build-744019
Both AES6.1 and CM6.0-345+DADS has got their own cores.
I dont't know the pocess to restart VFM but as I said, when things are bad I just restart both virtual machines and stuff is good for a while again.

Hello Guys,
I have VMs for AES6.1 and CM6.0-345+DADS on my powerful development machine with handsome deal of ram.
When first started in the morning, stuff remains good for a while but then I start getting the following error in DADS VFM.
Could not connect: Could not get I/O (Connection refused: connect) (vfm # 0)
My development machine and VMs of AES6.1 and CM6.0-345+DADS can ping eachother successfully.
Any help appreciated.
Regards,
Saeed
