Thanks -- I tried 8.0 as well on Windows 10 x64, with the same results. I'll try again on another fresh install and see what happens with 8.0.

Hi, I have currently tried this on Windows 10 x64 and Windows 7 x64 virtual machines. I copy the contents of the AAOD ISO image into a directory like I normally do on any desktop I've ever installed this on. AAOD runs fine, I'm able to build a flow, tomcat starts normally and appears to load the application, I can even check if the application is available by going to the localhost:8080/Test/Start page. The problem is, the simulator NEVER starts. It just hangs there and does nothing. The application never progresses through the flow and it doesn't even look like the simulator tries to retrieve the page from Tomcat. Has anyone else successfully installed AAOD on a virtual machine and gotten the simulator to work? Thanks!

The tricky thing here is, the client, for some reason takes forever to enter single digits. They want interdigit timeouts around 10s, but they want the # or ** to end the DTMF collection immediately and move on to the next input field. I thought for sure the way I have this grammar configured would work, but the # only seems to respond immediately. Anyone know of a hack or work-around?

Hi. I'm trying to create a grammar in Orchestration Designer 7.1 that accepts digits then either # as a terminating character or ** to terminate. I've got 2 columns in my grammar the first column is the numbers 0 through 9 which allows repeat of 0-16, and then in my second column, I have # (Repeat set to 1) and * (Repeat set to 2). When I run the app in my Dev environment, the grammar seems to terminate perfectly when pressing #, however, when I press , I have to wait about 5 seconds until the grammar returns. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else had this issue? How do I get to respond the same way # does? Thanks in advance for help, Dustin

Hi -- I just removed Java 7 from the system, specified Java 8 in Eclipse as the JRE and now I'm receiving errors on simple things like String.replace. There's a question similar to mine on Stack Overflow found here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24301986/the-type-java-lang-charsequence-cannot-be-resolved-in-package-declaration Since Eclipse Indigo cannot specify Java 1.8 in the section previously mentioned, does this mean that I won't be able to develop with AAOD 7 using Java 8 at all? If there are no workarounds, how soon can we expect an update? We just purchased our Avaya platform, there must be something we can do.

I appreciate your prompt reply. I am unable to get Eclipse Indigo to use Java 1.8, I would greatly appreciate some direction on how to use Java 1.8 with Eclipse Indigo, or is there another version of Eclipse I should be using? Our company is requiring the removal of Java 7 from all of our workstations. I'm quite new to the Eclipse environment, so a little guidance is needed here. Thanks!

Hi, this is my first time posting in the forums. Our company has required that we use Java 1.8 moving foward, so I have gone through the efforts of upgrading to a newer version of Eclipse that supports Java 1.8. Everything seems to work, except for web services. When I right-click on a web service and select Properties > Generate Client, and press the Generate button, nothing happens. I went to my workspace > .metadata > .log, I see the following error, but I'm unable to find a plugin or componenent to resolve this issue. Has anyone else tried to upgrade to Kepler or Luna with success? I also have an issue while attempting to create a new web service, that indicates there's an issue with the WSDL, but if I go back to Eclipse Indigo and perform the same action, there are no issues with creating the web service reference.
