Is the Return Event the same as Exit, but with event information attached? I looked at the documentation, but it is very confusing.

The prompt with the Return Event is in a sub flow. I would expect the Return Event to be caught in the AppRoot in the main flow. If I create a custom event and throw the custom event instead of using a Return Event, the AppRoot will catch the custom event. If I do not catch the NoInput in the prompt, then the AppRoot will catch the NoInput event. So why does AppRoot not catch the Return Event?

In my AppRoot, I also catch "No Match" and "No Input". I would expect that in the initial prompt, that the No Input event would be thrown after two attempts and the call flow would return to the AppRoot, but it just exits the application.

NoMatch and NoInput catch most issues but I need to then validate the date. If it is not valid, then go back to the prompt. At this point I have lost the NM/NI counts. Any suggestions on maintaining the counts in this situation.

Is there a way for the caller to repeat a menu prompt without changing the no input or no match counts. I would like to give them the option to enter "*" to repeat the prompt without resetting the counts back to zero.

This has just started to happen. When entering an if command on a prompt, I select a complex variable, then the system fills in the first field of that variable and I can not change it. If I select another field, as soon as I go to another area, the field value reverts to the name of the first field.
For instance, the first field for a complex variable for a Menu node is "confidence". Once I select the Menu complex variable, it fills in "confidence" for the Variable field. I can then try to change it by selecting "value". As soon as I move to enter the Compare operator, the Variable field value returns to "confidence". This is a severe problem.

I want to create a filter and that feature is only available when using XML.
