Hi.
a) OD (Orchestration Designer)-> the design tool/designer
The support to Oracle Weblogic 14c was introduced in the latest OD 8.1.2 with the Jira AAOD-627 (Update Oracle Weblogic to version 14c or later). Evidence on the OD 8.1.2 Release Notes (
https://support.avaya.com/css/secure/documents/101083450 ) on page 3.
The same doc, on page 9, section "Runtime environment", says:
Oracle Weblogic 10.3.6, 11g, 12cR2,
14.1.1
b) EP (Experience Portal) -> the running/execution platform
The EP 8.1.2 Administering guide (
https://www.devconnectprogram.com/fileMedia/download/af99babc-adf0-4116-9f70-141c7c168f61 ), on page 343, says:
Supported application servers
Oracle Weblogic 10.3.6, 11g, and 12c
Summary:
Officially there is no support for the Oracle Weblogic 14.1.1 with the platform 8.1.2, but you can use it with the designer 8.1.2. When you export the .war file on the designer, there is one single servlet container option for the Oracle Weblogic (se picture below) regardless the version used with the designer.
Tip:
Devconnect suggests to align the application server version (at least the main release, ex. Apache Tomcat 9.x) used by the platform to the one used by the designer, in order to avoid any incompatibility.
Notes:
• Any 12c version is supported in the OD, see this old post:
https://www.devconnectprogram.com/forums/posts/list/23397.page#p158566
• If you want to use the Weblogic 14c with the OD 8.1.2, there is a known issue (Relese notes , see link above, on page 5)
Add environment variable to the StartWeblogic script:
set JAVA_OPTIONS=%JAVA_OPTIONS% -DUseSunHttpHandler=true
Please the tsapi.pro file in domain (i.e base_domain) directory if using AES Connector.
