Release 10.1

Avaya Aura Communication Manager Release 10.1 was made generally available in December 2021 as part of Avaya Aura Platform Release 10.1. Service Pack 2 (release 10.1.0.2) was issued in September 2022. This is NOT the latest Communication Manager release; the latest release is recommended for new development.

New in Release 10.1

Communication Manager 10.1 includes the following new and enhanced capabilities:

  • Enhancements to the malicious call trace (MCT) feature enabling activation and deactivation without configuration the MCT controller.
  • Support for policy-based assignment of Session Managers enabling administration of up to four Session Managers for a SIP station for the fixed policy type.
  • Special application feature enables the Call Detail Recording to record the extention of the answering station if a bridged appearance answers a call.

Call Detail Recording

Beginning in Release 8.1.2, TLS Encryption has been added for the Communication Manager SAT interface, enabling encryption of CDR data for primary and secondary CDR devices using the TLS protocol. See Chapter 53 for detailed information about the Call Detail Recording interface:
