Avaya Aura® Communication Manager Release 7.1.2 was made generally available in December 2017 as part of Avaya Aura Platform Release 7.1.2. This is NOT the latest Communication Manager release; the latest release is recommended for new development.

Release 7.1.2

Communication Manager 7.1.2 includes the following new and enhanced capabilities:

  • Web Browser support for Mozilla Firefox browser: version 45.0 and later, Windows Internet Explorer 11.
  • Communication Manager Release 7.1.1 is now compliant with the security requirements stated in Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Supports network preemption with Communication Manager configured to use Session Manager as bandwidth manager.
  • Communication Manager Release 7.1.2 does NOT support Telnet.
