Latest Release: 10.2 (December 2023)

Release 8.0.1

Avaya Aura Communication Manager Release 8.0.1 was made generally available in December 2018 as part of Avaya Aura Platform Release 8.0.1. This is NOT the latest Communication Manager release; the latest release is recommended for new development.

Important The following end of sale and end of support dates have been announced:
  • End of sale: December 13, 2021
  • End of support: March 6, 2023
Additional information about the end of sale and end of support dates can be found here. For all new development, Avaya recommends that developers use the latest release of Avaya Aura Communication Manager.
Overview Downloads

New in Release 8.0.1

Communication Manager 8.0.1 includes the following new and enhanced capabilities:

  • Support for Connection Preservation Migration feature along with H.248 Link recovery for BRI Trunks based on MM720/721/722 media modules.
  • Avaya B199 SIP-based conference phones support.
  • DMCC API enhancements to allow external recording applications to request split stream recording.
