Overview

Avaya Aura Conferencing extends multimodal capabilities—for audio conferencing, Web collaboration, video and more—to tens of thousands of workers, virtually anywhere, at a fraction of the cost of other solutions. Meet Me, Ad Hoc and Event conference types are supported. The solution is available in various deployment modes to service the needs of small, midsize or large enterprises. Avaya Aura Conferencing includes Collaboration Agent, a Web-based client enabling participation via audio and video, advanced conference controls and content sharing.

IMPORTANT The following end of sale and end of support dates have been announced:
  • End of sale: June 1, 2018
  • End of support: November 11, 2020

Highlights

  • Avaya Aura Conferencing Release 8.0 (August 2014) introduced the new Collaboration API (CAPI) REST interface.
  • CAPI supports similar capabilities to those provided by Collaboration Agent, enabling conference management and participation features to be integrated into third-party clients.
