Releases

This topic comprises information and downloads specifically for Communication Control Toolkit .Net APIs. For generic Avaya Aura Contact Center (AACC) release information and resources for other interfaces, see the main product Releases topic. For generic Avaya Contact Center Select (ACCS) release information and resources for other interfaces, see its main product Releases topic.

AACC and ACCS Release 7.0

The CCT .Net SDK was reissued for use with AACC and ACCS Release 7.0. The SDK has been updated to .Net 4.5, AACC SIP is no longer supported with CS 1000 SIP, and the API has been enhanced to enable applications can check when they were last connected and to provide an internal ID for the IContact, IConnection and ITerminalConnection objects.

AACC Release 6.4 Feature Pack 2 and ACCS Release 6.4

The CCT .Net SDK was updated and reissued for use with Avaya Aura Contact Center Release 6.4 Feature Pack 2 and ACCS 6.4. New features include:

  • Support for use with the Avaya Contact Center Select product.
  • New methods (CanObserveFrom and CanBargeInFrom have been added to the IContactCapabilities interface to support the ability to observe or barge-in on non-skillset contacts. The new IsMonitored property indicates whether any supervisors are currently observing or barged-in on the contact.
  • A new Call Join feature.
  • Transfer/Conference user experience improvements.
  • Retrieval of valid Activity, Not Ready Reason and After Call Work codes from the server.
  • Expanded supervisor control of agents.
  • A new method to determine if there are any other active Communication Control Toolkit sessions that are connected using the same user credentials as the current application.
  • Several additional contact types have been defined.
  • Improved support for multi-session applications.
  • More detail provided for agent login failures.

AACC Release 6.4 Feature Pack 1

The CCT .Net SDK was updated and reissued for use with Avaya Aura Contact Center Release 6.4 Feature Pack 1. New features include:

  • New ParticipationReason property on TerminalConnection objects.
The ParticipationReason property has been added to the ITerminalConnection interface. The property is used to determine if the terminal connection is participating in a call in a special role. Most of these special roles are related to supervisor functions within a Contact Center operation. In addition, a change has been introduced to the behavior of the ITerminalConnection object used to model a supervisor's call leg when "barged in" on an agent's Contact Center contact. In previous releases, the terminal connection would have been in the Bridged state; starting in this release, it will be in the Active state and the ParticipationReason property will determine that it is modeling a "barged in" call leg. Code changes are optional.
  • New method to lookup Contact Center Code names.
A new method, GetContactCenterCodeName, has been defined to enable Communication Control Toolkit clients to lookup the display name associated with any currently defined Contact Center Code. Code changes are optional.

AACC Release 6.4

The CCT .Net SDK was updated and reissued for use with Avaya Aura Contact Center Release 6.4. The Communication Control Toolkit (CCT) Lite and Graphical APIs have been removed from the CCT .Net SDK: see Product Support Notice PSN004060. New features include:

  • New "Call Join" feature.
  • Transfer/Conference capability improvements.
  • New API method to access Activity/NotReadyReason/AfterCallWork codes.
  • Improved Supervisor/Agent control via API.
  • New API method call enabling force disconnect from other CCT sessions.
  • New and updated contact types, also catering for Proactive Outreach Manager.

AACC Release 6.3

The CCT .Net SDK was updated and reissued for use with Avaya Aura Contact Center Release 6.3. New features include:

  • A new set of APIs has been added that are primarily designed for the Avaya Aura Offsite Agent (AAOA) component. These APIs allow a client application to select a subset of resources to use in the session from those that are initially assigned to the session. Acquisition of the resources does not actually occur until the client application explicitly requests it, at which time any resources that had been marked for acquisition are acquired and all others dropped from the session (the client will not be allowed to use them).
  • The CCT Toolkit tracing capabilities have been enhanced by the addition of a new custom trace listener that supports circular trace file logging and combining trace logs from multiple trace sources, making it easier for CCT applications to implement robust trace logging.
  • A new TerminalAddressAssociation TerminalProperty has been created to indicate the addresses related to the terminal have changed.
  • The Observe and Whisper APIs on the IContact interface have been modified to take an IConnectio argument that identifies the agent being assisted. This change provides a linkage between the supervisor's connection and the agent's connection, such that the supervisor's connection can be automatically disconnected when the agent drops off the contact.
