The Auto Attendant sample application demonstrates CCXML based call control functionality and a VXML based call flow for
interacting with the user. The application comprises of two components - AutoAttendantCC (CCXML) and AutoAttendantDialog
(VXML):
AutoAttendantCC
This component (application) handles the incoming call and invokes the AutoAttendantDialog application to collect caller
information and called party extension. Call control is transferred back to this application and a call is placed to the
specified extension. The AutoAttendantDialog is again invoked to interact with the called party for accepting or rejecting
the call. Based on the called party's response, this application either joins the two parties in the call or disconnects
the called party.
AutoAttendantDialog
This component interacts with the caller and passes back the collected information to the AutoAttendantCC application.
Caller information is requested through playing prompts using Text-to-Speech and collected either using touch tone or speech
driven menus. This application initially records the caller's information and collects the called party extension number.
When the extension is dialed, the application plays the recorded information and the called party response is sent back to
the AutoAttendantCC application.
