Avaya WebRTC is an Avaya Breeze snap-in that enables end users to make secure voice calls from their Web browser. The call destination can be any endpoint to which Avaya Aura Session Manager is able to route calls. For example, a customer can initiate a call directly into the contact center from a Web page on a company's public Web site.

Highlights

  • The WebRTC SDK includes a client-side Javascript API that makes it easy for Web developers to embed WebRTC call controls in their Web pages. The complexities of the underlying WebRTC infrastucture are masked from developers.
  • End users can initiate calls from a Web page displayed in their WebRTC-compliant browser, without having to install a plug-in.
  • When used in conjunction with the Avaya Context Store Snap-in, caller and Web page information can be passed with the call and made available to the recipient and other downstream applications.
