My First Project

Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) is mandatory to use Sample App. The web application can be deployed on any webserver however the Sample App that is provided with this documentation is built and tested on tomcat7. To install tomcat7, open the Tomcat Setup.

Running the Sample App for the first time

The web application can be deployed on any webserver however this document considers the tomcat deployment pnly. To deploy the sample app on Tomcat 7

  • Obtain the SharingPackage_Javascript-3.7.0.0.0780044.zip and extract it.
  • After you install tomcat7, copy cobrowse_test_app folder from sample folder and put it in webapps folder under Tomcat.
  • To deploy web application on tomcat7, please refer Tomcat Web Application Deployment.

Configure services and start working with features

After you complete the setup of your development environment and confirm that the Sample App runs on your server, you can configure services and start using the features. The Avaya Co-Browsing SDK for JavaScript can be used in a number of different product environments.
