Avaya Communicator brings together multiple communication modes in a single client, giving users a common interface across platforms, including Android, Windows, iPad and iPhone. Users can make and receive voice and video calls from their telephone extension, send instant messages, access their call history, access their Avaya Aura® and Microsoft Outlook contacts, share information with Web collaboration and manage their presence status. Avaya Communicator provides automatic integration with Avaya Aura® Conferencing.

• The Headset Interface API enables the development of headset applications that integrate with Avaya Communicator for Windows.
• The Headset Interface is a COM component.
• Headset applications can control USB headsets.
• The Headset Interface API is also supported on Avaya one-X® Communicator for Windows and the Avaya Aura® Contact Center Agent Desktop deployed in embedded softphone mode.
