J100 Series and 96x1 Series H.323 Software Release 6.8

Release 6.8.0 was made generally available in January 2019; Release 6.8.1 was issued in April 2019; Release 6.8.2 was issued in June 2019; Release 6.8.3 was issued in November 2019; Release 6.8.4 was issued in July 2020; Release 6.8.5 was issued in November 2020. This is the latest release of H.323 software for installation on Avaya 9608, 9608G, 9611G, 9621G, 9641G, 9641GS, J159, J169, J179, and J189 IP deskphones and is recommended for new development.

Support for Enhanced Night Mode enabling a user to dim the phone display to the lowest brighness level or turn it off completely

Release 6.8.5.3 includes fixes only, and no new features.

Release 6.8.5.2 adds the following new enhancements:

Support for feature half screen mode
Enhanced navigation in half screen mode
SCEP Support over HTTPS

Release 6.8.5.1 includes fixes only, and no new features.

Release 6.8.5 introduces support for Avaya J159 and J189 IP deskphones.

Release 6.8.4 includes fixes only, and no new features.

Release 6.8.3 adds the following new features:

GDPR Compliance
Configurable option preventing display of "Ignore" softkey during incoming calls

Release 6.8.2 adds the following new capabilities:

Support for Traditional Chinese on 9608G, 9611G, J169, and J179 IP deskphones
Support for Avaya Acoustic Edge with Avaya L100 headsets

Release 6.8.1 includes no new features, only fixes.

Release 6.8.0 introduces the following new features:

Avaya L100 headsets support
Support for J100 Expansion Module with 24 red/green buttons and grayscale display on J169, and color display on J179 IP deskphones
