Effective April 09 2018, Avaya will End the Sale new CS1000E systems along with CS 1000 Release 7.6. Release 7.6 has been available since 2013 and is the final CS1K software release. Additional information can be found here.
Avaya offers a variety of modernization paths for CS1000 customers to migrate to including Avaya Aura®, Avaya IP Office™, and Avaya Cloud Solutions that not only protect the customers’ investments, but provide solution capabilities in keeping with current market demands for Omni-channel and unified communications solutions.
Effective April 9, 2019, Avaya will no longer support CS 1000 Release 7.6.
Communication Server 1000 (CS 1000) is a server-based, fully-featured IP PBX. It provides the benefits of a converged network, advanced applications, and over 750 call processing and telephony features. CS 1000 is distributed over an IP LAN and WAN infrastructure, with built-in reliability and survivability. CS 1000 supports business-critical applications, including unified messaging, customer contact center, IVR, wireless VoIP and IP telephones.
