Communication Server 1000 (CS 1000) Release 7.5 was made generally available in December 2010; Service Pack 24 was issued in November 2013. This is NOT the latest release of CS 1000; the latest release is recommended for new development.
New In This Release
CS 1000 Release 7.5 provides integration with Avaya Aura®. Avaya Aura extends the capabilities of migrated CS 1000 systems to enable faster and easier deployment of voice, video, messaging, and presence services.
Existing systems with a Network Routing Service must migrate to Session Manager, with the following exceptions:
- Migration support for customers with multiple Network Routing Services
- H.323 Gatekeeper
- IPv6 support
- Communication Server 1000E High Scalability
- Survivable SIP Media Gateway Tertiary Network Routing Service server
Avaya Aura System Manager Release 6.1 is required for managing systems with Avaya Aura Session Manager and/or Avaya Aura Presence Services.

The CS 1000 Data Buffering and Access (DBA) CDR/Traffic Toolkit download is available to DevConnect Technology Partners and enhanced-level Registered Members only. To use the Toolkit, the DBA Package (351) must be equipped on the CS 1000 Call Server from which CDR and Traffic data will be collected.
