Release 6.6

Avaya Elite Multichannel (EMC) Release 6.6 was made generally available in March 2019; Service Pack 3 (Release 6.6.0.3) was issued in November 2021. This is the last release of Avaya Elite Multichannel.

IMPORTANT The following end of sale and end of support dates have been announced for Avaya Elite Multichannel.
  • End of sale: November 15, 2022
  • End of support: November 14, 2023

New in Release 6.6.0.3

Avaya Elite Multichannel Release 6.6.0.3 includes the following new and enhanced features:

  • Support for .Net 4.8.
  • Introduced the Configuration Server Management Portal (CSM Portal) enabling application and user configuration data administration to the Configuration Server database.
  • Shifted reliance to Microsoft MSXML 6 libraries.
  • Support for on-demand licensing from the WebLM server.
  • Enhancements to the Chrome browser profile launch behavior.

New in Release 6.6.0.2

Avaya Elite Multichannel Release 6.6.0.2 includes the following new and enhanced features:

  • Support for OAuth 2.0 authorization protocol.
  • Increased license renewal interval up to 600 seconds with WebLM 8.1.3.
  • Added license director grace period of up to 4 hours to mitigate connectivity issues with WebLM.
  • Introduced new parameter in XML server to capture TSAPI related traces.

New in Release 6.6.0.1

Avaya Elite Multichannel Release 6.6.0.1 includes the following new and enhanced features:

  • Support for MS SQL in always-on mode.
  • Keyword based routing on latest email or whole email thread.
  • Support for FIPS compliance.
  • Searchable SMS history based on customer ID.
  • Display customer name and details from database on EMC desktop for voice calls.

New in Release 6.6

Avaya Elite Multichannel Release 6.6 includes the following new and enhanced features:

  • Support for the Exchange Web Services (EWS) protocol, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Display of the customer name on the work item during a call if the customer name is configured in Communication Manager.
  • Option to send chat transcript to the customer.
  • Option to select communication type between Call Center Elite Multichannel Desktop and server.
  • Ability to set the communication type as asynchronous or synchronous.
  • Support for Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Standard and Enterprise.
  • Capacity increase for the key and topic values used for AutoText.
  • Option to embed images in emails, and enable or disable email auto response.
  • Support for queueing priorities for email based on sender address or /domain.
  • Option to set Outbound Email Queue per agent.
  • Option to request a callback from customer's web portal by sharing the day and time of callback.
  • Support for 500 agents and 10 parameters for the Unicast test for wallboards.
  • Increase in the database size to 100 GB.
