Release 3.5

Avaya BotConnector (formerly Chatbot) Snap-in Release 3.5 was made generally available in August 2018. This is NOT the latest release of this snap-in to the Avaya Breeze Platform. The latest release is recommended for new development.

IMPORTANT Early releases of the Avaya BotConnector Snap-in are end of support effective October 31, 2020. Additional information about the end of sale and end of support dates can be found here. For all new development, Avaya recommends that developers use the latest release of the Avaya BotConnector Snap-in for Avaya Oceana Solution.

New in Release 3.5

Avaya BotConnector Snap-in 3.5 has introduced the following new features:

  • Session management enables storage of session-related data and transcript.
  • Multiple adapters enables integration with multiple Bot engines based on business requirements.
  • Oceana Centralized logging provides a centralized logging mechanism to locate the root cause of any solution componoent issue.
  • Customization of Oceana chat client and BotConnector Snap-in allows additional information sharing, such as menu information and URL information.
