Release 7.2

Operational Analyst Release 7.2 was made generally available in May 2009; Service Pack 6 was issued May 2013. This is NOT the latest release of Operational Analyst: the latest release is recommended for new development.

IMPORTANT The following end of sale and end of support dates have been announced:
  • End of sale: April 2, 2012
  • End of support: July 31, 2014

Operational Analyst Release 7.2 includes the following new and enhanced features:

  • The ability to capturie and report agent state information by channel.
  • Cross-domain authentication, which provides graded authentication that allows users from different domains to access and execute reports.

    • Windows Vista, for OA Report Client with Internet Explorer version 7.0
    • Solaris 10
    • AIX 6.1.
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database

    • Apache Tomcat 6.0.18 for AIX
    • Cognos 7.4
    • VMWare ESX version 3 infrastructure
  • Operational Analyst 7.2 no longer supports:
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2000
    • Solaris 9
    • AIX 5.2L or 5.3
    • IBM Websphere
    • Oracle 9i
