The Proactive Contact MultiDialer sample application demonstrates how to register for and receive events from an Avaya Proactive Contact system configured with multiple dialers. The sample code uses the Naming Service on the primary dialer to locate the Event Service on each dialer. The client then logs in and registers with each Event Service to receive job, call and agent events from that dialer.

Note: The documentation was updated and reissued in February 2011 (Issue 1.1) to note that the sample application is not supported in the Proactive Contact Remote Lab. Effective August 2021, access to the Proactive Contact Remote Lab is no longer available.

The sample application has been verified as being functional with the following releases Avaya products, but is expected to work with later releases:

• Proactive Contact Release 3.0 or later

In order to execute this application, you will need:

• A Proactive Contact system configured with multiple dialers
• The Event Service SDK installed
• The ACE ORB (TAO version built according to the directions in Avaya Proactive Contact Release Software Developer's Kit (SDK), Appendix D: Win2K Sample Setup)
