Release 2.1

Avaya Vantage Release 2.1 was made generally available in June 2019. This is NOT the latest release of Avaya Vantage. The latest release is recommended for new development.

Important The following end of sale and end of support dates have been announced for Avaya Vantage Release 2.x:
  • End of sale: December 13, 2021
  • End of support: December 13, 2024
Additional information about the end of sale and end of support dates can be found here.For all new development, Avaya recommends that developers use the latest release of Avaya Vantage.

Features in the new release

Avaya Vantage™ Connect Release 2.1.0.0

Avaya Vantage Connect (formerly Avaya Vantage™ Basic) Release 2.1.0.0 includes the following new features:

  • Open SIP basic support - 3-way local conferencing support.
  • Basic URI dialing support.

Avaya Vantage Software Release 2.1.0.0

Avaya Vantage Software Release 2.1.0.0 includes the following new and enhanced features:

  • SLAmonitor support.
  • 802.1p support.
  • Support for 100M/Full Duplex via configuration.
  • Support for Avaya Equinox® Meetings online support.
  • Security enhancements.
  • Obsuring and locking of several Avaya Vantage Settings Application menus.
  • DES support for upgrade.

As of April 30, 2019, Avaya has removed availability of the sample code for the Avaya Vantage Connect (formerly Avaya Vantage Basic) Client. Developers should refer to content related to the Avaya Breeze Client SDK for code samples that will work with the Android-based Avaya Vantage device. If/when Avaya provides additional code samples specific to Avaya Vantage devices, announcements will be made on the DevConnect Portal.
