Release 2.2

Avaya Vantage Release 2.2 was made generally available in October 2019. This is the latest release of Avaya Vantage and is recommended for new development.

New In This Release

Avaya Vantage Connect Release 2.2.0.0

Avaya Vantage Connect (formerly Avaya Vantage Basic) Release 2.2.0.0 includes the following new features:

  • Bridge appearance support.
  • Calendar integration.
  • Collaboration support.
  • Hot dial support.
  • USB headset call control support.

Avaya Vantage Release 2.2.0.0

Avaya Vantage Release 2.2.0.0 includes the following new and enhanced features:

  • Support of IPv6 on Ethernet interfaces, excluding WiFi.
  • Call control using Bluetooth and USB headsets.
  • FIPS 140-2 support.
  • Traditional Chinese support.
  • Configuration of DSCPAUD, DSCPSIG, DSCPVID using LLDP or 46xxsettings.txt file.

As of April 30, 2019, Avaya has removed availability of the sample code for the Avaya Vantage Connect (formerly Avaya Vantage Basic) Client. Developers should refer to content related to the Avaya IX Client SDK (formerly Avaya Breeze Client SDK) for code samples that will work with the Android-based Avaya Vantage device. If/when Avaya provides additional code samples specific to Avaya Vantage devices, announcements will be made on the DevConnect Portal.
