Avaya WebRTC Connect enables Avaya Contact Center customers to embed voice and video communications in their mobile applications. The solution provides the infrastructure to securely handle these calls, requiring few changes to the contact center or agent experience.

The Avaya WebRTC Connect SDK resides within a contact center mobile application, enabling customers and clients to initiate a voice call from a WebRTC supported browser on a Windows or Mac system, while continuing to browse the vendor's web portal. The SDK also enables customers to initiate calls from within a vendor mobile application installed on an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.


  • Avaya WebRTC Connect supports Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge Chromium browsers.
  • The SDK replaces Avaya Oceana Web Voice and Video SDK and is unified to interoperate with Avaya Oceana and Avaya Aura Call Center Elite platforms.
