Avaya Aura Session Manager Release 10.2 was made generally available in December 2023. This is the latest release of Avaya Aura Session Manager and is recommended for new development.

New in Release 10.2

Session Manager 10.2 introduces the following new features and enhancements:

  • Enhancements to the patchSM command with the --snapshot option
  • Support of the vmsnapshot command
  • Edge friendly branch survivability
  • Enhancements to the Remote Access Configuration page
  • Support of Stir/Shaken message normalization and adaptation module
  • Trellix AV (fka McAfee) software deployment support in a virtualized environment to detect, prevent, and eliminate malware threats
  • VMware vSphere ESXi 8.0 and VMware vCenter Server 8.0 support in a VMware virtualized environment
