Avaya Context Store Snap-in Release 3.8

Release 3.8

Avaya Context Store Snap-in Release 3.8 was made generally available in September 2020; Feature Pack 2 (Release 3.8.2) was issued in April 2022. This is NOT the latest release of this Avaya Breeze snap-in. The latest release is recommended for new development.

IMPORTANT The following end of sale and end of support dates have been announced for the Avaya Breeze platform and selected snap-ins as stand-alone products. The Avaya Oceana Solution still depends on Avaya Breeze; therefore, the Avaya Oceana Solution offer includes Avaya Breeze, Context Store, Co-browsing, and Engagement Designer. Support for these components will continue as part of the Avaya Oceana Solution.

Context Store 3.8.2 introduced the following new and enhanced features:

External data mart (EDM) support for MS SQL transparent data encryption (TDE) on EDM
Support for sample SQL server agent scripts for Avaya Oceana EDM

Context Store 3.8.1.1 introduced the following new and enhanced features:

Upgrade to key services to user Gigaspaces 15.8.

Addition of authorization for ContextStoreScreenPop service.

Context Store 3.8 introduced the following new and enhanced features:

Discontinued support for Oracle.
Introduced new schema to optimize EDM and reduce required database disk space by 70-80%.
Redesigned the Customer Journey Widget UX.
Introduced option to allow Avaya Control Manager database and Context Store EDM database to share the same instance of SQL server.
