Hi is there any way a DMCC application could register with a terminal without providing the station password?

Yes, I believe that is possible.

First, if the Security Database (SDB) is not enabled for DMCC, you must enable it using the AE Services web interface and restart the DMCC service. Then you must give the CTI user Unrestricted SDB access.

The CTI user can then be used to start a DMCC session and register terminals without a password.

Thanks Martin, this would be a perfect solution however there are some security concerns around giving a CTI user unrestricted SDB access. Is there a way to give a CTI user the access necessary to connect to and register terminals without a password but without allowing unrestricted access?

Is there perhaps a way to set up a customised access level? If so, what access would need to be granted to the user?

Many Thanks for you assistance!!

You should be able to give the user restricted access and configure your SDB to allow it access to whichever stations you like. This is described in the AE Services documentation.
