Avaya Session Border Controller (fka ASBCE) 10.1.2 Changes May Impact Integrations
The latest Avaya Session Border Controller release -- 10.1.2 -- contains several significant updates that may impact third-party integrations. This release requires Avaya Aura System Manager root Certificate Authority minimum key size of 2048 bits with the SHA256with RSA algorithm. Also, Avaya SBC 10.1.2 supports TLS 1.2 and 1.3 only -- support for TLS versions 1.1 and earlier has ended. Apache Log4j Vulnerability - Impact for Avaya Products
Avaya is aware of the recently identified Apache Log4j vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228 and CVE-2021-45046) and is conducting impact assessments across its portfolio, identifying opportunities for temporary mitigations, if possible, and developing plans for remediation, as appropriate.
