I use dot net emc desktop plugin to do a conference call with a VDN number. The problem is conference will work for few hours and then the event will not fire..i tried different options like transfer, hold etc with xml station but in all cases it will work only for few hours. i checked xml station and xml client status ..XML station station is still monitoring but conference is not happening

based on your brief description I find it hard to follow your use case.
1) what releases of AES and CM are you on
2) what is being monitored?
2a) precisely wyat type of monitor are you establishing?
3) what do you see in the DMCC trace logs relative to traffic for your DMCC session?
4) did perhaps your device get unregistered?

5) and let me add,
* what event isn't firing "and then the event will not fire"?
* what do you mean "conference is not happening "?
as these seem to be contradictory statements.
