Are there any plans to create a .NET Standard or .NET Core version of the DMCC API? It being .NET Framework really shoehorns us into only being able to deploy code to a windows machine/VM.

Are there specific dependencies with the DMCC SDK that are preventing an easy port over to either .NET standard or Core?

Hi Max,

Devconnect are not involved with the development of DMCC so we have no way of knowing why design decisions are made. In my experience, changes to libraries .Net framework are made very rarely.

If you wish to develop products for non-Windows platforms, there is also a Java SDK and an XML SDK which can be used in almost any environment.
