I thought that the OD Runtime would only get a license once an hour. My system is validating the license with every call.

The following trace is after applying SP3.

<meta name="runtime-version" content="06.00.13.01"/>
4:<meta name="runtimecommon-version" content="06.00.13.01"/>

In OD 6 SP3, there is a new property you can set in the ddrt.properties file:

licensechecktimeout=1

The value is a positive integer greater than 0 and represents the number of seconds to wait.

We are using that now. But, is there a way to avoid the call to the WebLM on each call? I thought that it was only supposed to happen occasionally, not each call.

If you've exceeded the grace period of 30 days without a valid license, then it will check on every app launch.

I didn't exceed the grace period. I took the WebLM offline just a few minutes before.

Can you post more of the log like more lines before the license check and more lines after and for 2 consecutive calls.
