How frequently does the EPM check for changes on the CAV values?
I mean, if I change some configuration variable value, will the MPP have them updated on the next incoming call or will there be a period in which the old values will remain cached?
If refresh is not automatic, is there a way to force it?

It can take up to 30 seconds. When after the change is made the data needs to be pushed to all the MPPs with a new time stamp. Once the MPP has the new data and timestamp, it will pass the timestamp to OD. OD will compare with the timestamp it currently has and if different will then fetch the new CAV values.

You cannot force this process.
