Which Operating Systems (OS) are supported for OD 6.0 and 7.1 Application Servers?

The documentation is outdated. It includes a list of OS' which are old and most of which our customers no longer support in house.

Can you please offer some guidance?

Operating system requirements

Orchestration Designer applications can run within the following operating systems:
• Windows XP, any version, with Service Pack 2
• Windows 2003 Standard or Enterprise Server
• RedHat Linux, ES 4.0
• Solaris 9

The OS we tested and support are Windows 2008 and Redhat Linux 6.3, 6.5. Basically, you can deploy the OD app on any OS that runs the app servers we support, namely Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere and JBoss. Essentially, the app servers make the OS transparent to applications.
