Hello guys

I am getting this error when I try to execute an application that record my voice using simulator

How could I fix it?

I tried to force the simulator creating this file on the cache folder

C:\eclipse\plugins\com.avaya.sceavb_8.1.1.0801\AVB\cache\com.avaya.OSBinet\0\beep.wav_1643918545_transcoded_wave_mulaw.wav

but I did not have success

one guess would be a permissions issue between the file location and tthe media server. One would think that running as administrator might fix the issue, but note that the Media Server is doing the write, not the application.

Problem Clarification
Caller is not able to enter any information in the prompts of the Voice Extensible Markup Language (VXML) application. So the prompts time out and the application drops the call.
Cause
defaultX.cfg files under /vs/data/vxml were configured incorrectly. All of them are pointing to the same cache directory.

Solution
Fix VXML configuration files to point to different cache directories.

Thanks John, I imagined that was caused because some cache, do you know how I find this folder? I am using Windows 10, the system(tsc)% grep cacheDir /vs/data/vxml/default*.cfg is a command? I tried on PowerShell without success

I tried to fix the post, that info was for Interactive Response :( I would start by just searching for .cfg files on the drive and see if they contain the word cache (find / -name "*.cgs | xargs grep cache) I am afraid that I am just turning over rocks without knowing where I should be looking in general here.

Just several assumptions.
1. Do not put your eclipse folder in the root of disk C. Try to move (install) OD in the C:\work\eclipse.
2. Do you have a problem with all sounds or just with this one?

A successful log would look like this (please ignore the fact my log shows OD 8.1.2. Nothing has changed). This shows you a cache file would have been created by the simulator in the eclipse/plugin/com.avaya.sceavb<version>/AVB/cache/com.avaya.OSBinet directory on your desktop. So your error indicate simulator couldn't do that. Pretty likely a permission issue.

VasilyL - On first error if you check, it was not on root C, I put it there and the error persisted

It is not the eclipse process that access the file. It is the simulator (pavb.exe) process, a separate windows process. I am not sure how you can grant access particular to that process as I have never seen such problem.
