Hi,
We have a guest rapid response system where hotels can register guest complains into our systems and we can dispatch job assignments to Hotel staff. In terms of delivering messages to Hotel Staff, we have to interface with 3 different Avaya phone models to provide text messaging for our customers. Phone models are:
-- Avaya WLAN 6140 (PABX: Nortel / Avaya CS100E)
-- Avaya 3631 (PABX: Avaya communication manager S8500)
-- Aastra 630d (PABX: Matra 6500)

Need some help in understand the process of interfacing with Avaya phones.

Shafquat,

Are you looking to send a text IM to the phones, or are you looking to do a text-to-voice conversion and send the audio to the devices?

Hi John,
I am only willing to send only text IM to the phones.

Would it be possible for Avaya handsets to reply back to these text IM's and my system can receive those replies.

At the moment ACE does not support text delivery to the listed devices. You will need to look at a different integration point.
