Hi,
Given that DMCC provides a .NET SDK, can we use DMCC SDK to write a client for call control (make call) with events (connected, answered, etc) rather than using TSAPI which does not support .NET SDK. If the answer is yes, then do I need IP_API_A and Basic TSAPI licenses on the AES box ?

Yes, you can use the .NET SDK to perform those actions and get those events. I would recommend that you play with the Dashboard tool to learn what third party call control commands and events are available.

Since the .NET SDK communicates to the AES box and AES is what actually does the actions, you will still need the same TSAPI licenses for third party call control even if you are using the .NET SDK.

Would I also require the IP_API_A licenses ?

Shailesh,

You only need an IP_API_A license if you're going to register a DMCC phone for device or media control (Physical Device Services, Voice Unit Services, getting access to an RTP stream, etc). If you only want to use the call control services and events, you only need a TSAPI basic license.
