Hi , Just wanted to know how the differences between make call and make predictive call. Also, licences required for the functionalities.

MakeCall simply makes a call from one extension to another number (extension, external phone etc.).

MakePredictiveCall originates a call from the switch to a customer number. It then detects when the call has been answered. Only after teh call is answered does it attempt to add an agent to the call. It can also use certain algorithms to detect if the call was answered by a human or voicemail/fax. It the call was not answered by a human, it can disconnect the call. The idea is to minimise the time wasted by the agent.

Both methods require a TSAPI Basic license for the agent's phone. MakePredictiveCall also requires the use of an Advanced TSAPI license.
