We currently have a custom softphone running with the below API's. I am wondering if JTAPI 6.1.0.77 will run on Java 8 with the below configurations, since there is a bug in Java 7 that causes security errors. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks

JTAPI Version: 6.1.0.77
DMCC Version: 6.1.0.501
Java Runtime: 1.7.0_51
Version of Java Compiled Against: 1.6.0_33

All testing has been done on on OpenJDK 7.x or JDK 7.x. Therefore, while JTAPI is very likely to work on Java 8, it may not be officially supported.

Not that I know of.

My interpretation of the email I got from the developer was that ALL their recent testing was with 1.7.
