Hello!

Sorry if this topic is in the wrong forum. Please move it or direct me where I should reopen it.

I'm trying to talk native XMPP to an Avaya Aura Presence Services. Unfortunately I don't know which exact version our customer is using. I can request this information if it is needed. The response to our IQ discovery says:

<identity category='server' name='jabber25.6.0' type='im'/>

Everything seems to work fine until some time after the roster synchronization (~2 minutes) when my XMPP client gets flooded with the following IQ:

<iq from='user@presence.domain/resource' id='xcp-internal-remove-id' internal='-internal-remove-queue-' to='user@presence.domain/resource' type='result'/>

We receive this message about 30 times, then there are about 2 minutes pause -> repeated indefinitely.

I guess it has something to do with my client removing roster items, but I couldn't track it down further yet. Any idea/information on what is going on here would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Peter

I don't believe there's a Presence Services forum. You should probably look to open a technical ticket with the product team as AACC doesn't have an XMPP interface.

NOTE: that technical tickets are a payed support service and may require an upgrade to your membership.

Thank you for your response. I'll try to open a technical ticket for this issue.

If we find the reason I'll add the explanation/solution to this thread.

Best regards,

Turned out this was a problem with an out of date AES and is fixed in current versions.
