I am trying to retrieve call statistics (e.g. Call Load, Percentage calls rejected etc) programatically from web services but I'm having trouble locating the relevant documentation. Can anyone tell me

1. If web services is the right method to use for this?
2. If so, then where I can find documentation about how to achieve this and what statistics are available
3. If not then what the best method to retrieve this information would be?

The AE Services web services are not the best for getting statistics. It sounds like you might want to look into Call Detail Recording. Check chapter 52 of this document.
