I have trouble with Avaya One-X agent on our Windows 7 virtual machines. With the settings exactly the same as the working version on our physical machines One-X fails to connect to make call. It stays in “connecting” status. Through my helpdesk journey, I have been told this is a firewall issue. I did complete a Remedy Firewall Access Request, but that was not successful.Do you have any ideas about how we can get One-x agent to work on our VM’s? Thank you!

According to my SME, he has been able to get Avaya One-X agent working on Windows 7 virtual machines.

He said that the problem where it stays in "connecting" state is almost always due to firewall problems, or possibly some other networking issue. He did say that there is a very small possibility that you may see this problem if the station is not configured on Communication Manager with "IP SoftPhone? y".
