Hello,

What is a proper way to achieve no license consuming for JTAPI application?

I need to monitor calls of agents logged in to the station.
We have enough licenses for this stations, but on another AES server.
As far as I know "Avaya open CTI" consumes only one TSAPI license.

How can I achieve the same license consumption?

I would appreciate your help.

Ok, I found a way how to monitor incoming calls via VDN.
Will I have any problems with VDNs hierarchy?

But I faced two issues:
1. Can't get VDNs via CallCenterProvider.getACDManagerAddresses()

2. Can't do outbound calls without consuming a license.

UPD 2. Can't listen to outbound calls events ...

I think you are going to have to purchase extra licenses.

It is possible to get some events for incoming VDN calls without consuming a TSAPI license. However, for outgoing calls, for internal calls or to make calls, you will need to use a TSAPI license per station.

Thank you Martin, it was helpful.

But how does "Avaya Open CTI" works?
It is strange, that it consumes only one license in our prod and still able to listen to outbound calls.
Does it use several AES? Does it connect to CM?

And of course, I hope that our solution is legal and corresponds Avaya's agreements.

What is "Avaya Open CTI"? I have not come across the phrase before.

I'm talking about "AES Open CTI Adapter"

Here is a link to documentation:
https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/101027832

I can't find other links.

AES Open CTI Adapter is developed by Avaya Professional Services. As such, it may have a different licensing scheme. Third-party applications, such as yours, will normally require TSAPI licenses.
