The Make Call task can be configured to call the user as the 1st party and then add the customers number as the 2nd party. We have tested this with a small group and they have given negative feedback on the experience. They don't like that they have to first answer what they see as an outbound call. The use case is a click to call from a website for dialing customer phone numbers.

Does anyone know of an alternative in ED that will make an outbound call for a user without them having to answer it first?

Sample build has an event being triggered from a website that passes in the users extension and the customers phone number. This event in turn runs a workflow with a Make Call task.

Thanks for the reply. The users would like a call to automatically be placed after clicking a phone number on a website. It's our understanding the Make Call task would require users to answer a call as part of the workflow. We were wondering if there's any ED tasks that recognize the extension and automatically make an outbound call without any other user interaction.
