Hi,

We have a requirement from customer to change the language tag before making Google Speech request.
At the beginning of the call, the caller will be identified based on the calling number and his/her nationality.
And based on this information, customer wants IVR to change the language tag like en-US, en-UK, en-AU, en-GH, en-IN, en-PK, en-SG etc. in order to achieve maximum recognition performance from Google Speech.

The environment is OD 7.2.3 and EP 7.2.3 with Tomcat 8.5. Customer is not using DialogFlow.

Kindly advise:
a. Whether this is feasible or not (in terms of recognition performance)?
b. How to achieve this in OD application?

Note: OD Application has 2 languages defined at the moment, Arabic (ar-SA) and English (en-US).

Thanks.

It's possible to create a multilingual application by changing the language within the application at run time. The language that you specify at run time is used for the current call. For other calls, the system uses the default or starting project language.
