We have a requirement where a call lands on Comm Mgr over an ISDN PRI Trunk and the call is routed to AVP 5.1 using H.323 channels , now there is an option in the VP Application which needs to call another AVP over the same ISDN PRI but also pass some data in the UUI Field so that the other VP can extract the data .

Appreciate on some clues on how to go about this .

The question is about populating values from Orchestration Designer application to the UUI field of the Outbound call over an ISDN PRI Trunk .
We want to transfer the incoming caller to an outside number and pass the caller entered values in the UUI field .

Technically this should work. For this to work however, you need an AES server because the AVP needs to do a CTI transfer where the UUI data can be passed.
If the transferred call will go to an ISDN trunk, the UUI field in the trunk will be populated with the UUI data from the CTI transfer.
If the UUI data will be passed by the Network Operator (between two CM's) is another question. Not all Network Operators pass the UUI fields over ISDN trunks.
If it is ONE CM and the AVP's are on different locations, but connected to the same CM, the UUI data is passed. If both locations have their own CM, it depends on the Network Operator if the UUI data is passed between the locations. Remember, if both locations have their own CM an AES server on both locations is a must.

Thank you Jaap for the feedback, it is really useful in designing the solution , we are also looking at options to integrate the 2 VP systems through an IP Network .

The requirement is basically to have the Primary application running on a VP Application server in one city , the Primary application will have a menu option which needs to call the secondary application running on another Application server in another city .
The call control is to be maintained on the Primary VP server and execute the Secondary code on the Secondary VP Application server .
After the call ends on the secondary application the call control needs to be returned on the parent application , with some data passed from the secondary application .

Both sites have their own CM & AES servers .
