Subject: Is It Possible To Get Routing Events Off VDNs On BDE?

It looks like our server can register for routine events on 2 VDNs I created but when a call comes into the VDN our server never sees a CSTA CSTA_ROUTE_REQUEST_EXT event.

Does the BDE support this?

Assuming you are using the existing configuration in BDE, and dialing 30098, there is a mistake in the configuration of vector 98, it should route to link 1 (not 3).

After making this change, I tested the functionality and it is working.

Remember to do a 'save translation' so you do not loose the configuration change.

note the SAT command would be ' change vector 98 '

Well I created my own VDNs for our needs and wanted to leave what you had setup untouched. I will check 30098 and see if we can use that as well.

Could it be because the vectors I setup only "queue-to" a skill group vs. routing?

yes, you must use an adjunct-route step to trigger this functionality.
