Hi all,

Running several OD 6 applications on Tomcat 6 hosted on a cluster of virtual Win 2003 and 2008 servers. We have one particular module that serves as a transfer service for all of our applications. Nothing in the environment, nor applications have changed, but we have noticed a spike in the number of transfer failures, with a 'error.badfetch.http.404' output as the return code string from the transfer module.

We've engaged Avaya support to check the MPP logs but they're saying everything is fine from the MPP perspective - and that the problem comes from the app srv side. We've had our windows engineering team look at the servers and have not seen anything that would indicate an issue.

This does not happen to 100% of the calls, only about 10% or less. However, it was ~1-2% only a week ago and suddenly we're seeing the increase. Does anyone have any ideas as to what else we can possibly look at to find root cause?

Do you have a log that shows the 404 error? Is there any error in the app log?

This was corrected by specifying all hostname entries in the /etc/hosts files on the MPPs.

Thank you
