Dialog Designer 5.1 is now generally available.
Key new features include:
- Graphical debugging of speech applications; integrated with Eclipse debugger.
- Integrated search features to help you find project resources quickly.
- New web service connector based on Axis2 for improved compatibility with web services.
- Utilities for easier management of certificates.
- Support for the heritage Nortel MPS platform.
- Numerous enhancements and bug fixes.

Is there an interoperability FAQ?

I.e. DD 5.1 runtimes co-resident on VP 5.0 or DD5.0 apps able to execute on 5.0 VP with 5.1 runtimes?

Can CTIConnector from DD5.1 be used on VP 5.0?

Several features in DD and CTIConnector that would be useful but it may be a while before I can upgrade the Voice Portal itself.

I am not aware of any FAQ.
DD 5.1 apps are fully compatible with VP 5.0.
As always, we don't recommend missing DD5.1 apps and DD5.0 on one app server instance. You should import the DD 5.0 apps into DD 5.1 first.
CTIConnector 5.1 will work fine with VP 5.0.
