Hello,

Our call recording application uses CallControl services to monitor physical devices.
In the case a a monitored device is involved in a call, a softphone is added to this cal via SSC.
The RTP of this softphone is retrieved via MediaControl services (client media mode)

Is there a fixed limitation of:
- how many davices can be monitored by a single DMCC application?
- how many softphones can be registered and controlled by a single DMCC application?
- how many media streams can be routed to an external application in parallel?

Regards,

The answer depends on some factors. You can get some insight from the section titled 'Capacities for calls in Device, Media, and Call Control applications' in the AE Services Overview document available on www.avaya.com/support or www.avaya.com/devconnect. In general the answer is going to be more than the a single application hardware platform can handle.

What AE Services server hardware platform are you using?
Are you using encryption on the signaling link?
How many AE Services servers are you interfacing your application to?

The media stream question's answer (#3) is a function of hardware resources on communication manager and the actual server that is being used, and the licensing that is installed. So is this an esoteric, what is the absolute max, or is this constrained by some specific info on server type, installed voip resources, and license restrictions?
