20 TSAPI Basic User Licenses are required for Call Control Monitors through DMCC. This is assuming you do not do a device registration request. If you do a device registration request you will also require 20 DMCC_DMC licenses

The VDN and acdGroup monitors do not consume licenses.

OK, for monitoring _what_?

DMCC licensing is divided into three different types of monitoring.

1) Call Control Monitors - require TSAPI Basic User Licenses To see a set of operations (albeit in TSAPI terminology that is slightly different from DMCC terminology) see https://devconnect.avaya.com/secure/faq/d_faq.jsp?f=1&q=495#q495

2) Adjunct Routing Route Requests, Selective Listening, and makePredictiveCall (strictly not a 'monitor' but in many ways acts like one) all require a TSAPI Advanced License. See https://devconnect.avaya.com/secure/faq/d_faq.jsp?f=1&q=657#q657 for additional information

3) the remaining DMCC Services use a DMCC Basic License.
