Hi Ross,
We are also facing same issue.
In between calls logs are missing from some timestamp to another timestamp. What could be the reason?.
Is it the problem because of log4j?.
App server : WAS 6
DD : 5.5
log4j : DailyRollingFileAppender.
Thanks,
Venkoba G

Hi,
Please develop your IVR with default language(English) and install localization bundle for language which you want to play.
Set language in DD according to user selection.

Hi,
All my application logs are writing to systemout.log file instead of trace.log file.
Below is the log4j property file,
# log4j.rootLogger=error, stdout
log4j.logger.Dialog.Designer.TraceWriter.APP1= debug, TAPP1
log4j.logger.Dialog.Designer.ReportWriter.APP1= debug, RAPP1
# Console
log4j.appender.stdout=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender
log4j.appender.stdout.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.stdout.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss} %5p - %m%n
# Report File.
log4j.appender.RAPP1=org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.RAPP1.File=${IVR_LOG_DIR}/APP1/APP1_Report.log
log4j.appender.RAPP1.preserveLogFileNameExtension=true
log4j.appender.RAPP1.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.RAPP1.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss} %-5p %c{1}:%L - %m%n
log4j.appender.RAPP1.Encoding=UTF-8
log4j.appender.RAPP1.MaxFileSize=10MB
log4j.appender.RAPP1.MaxBackupIndex=5
# Trace File.
log4j.appender.TAPP1=org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.TAPP1.File=${IVR_LOG_DIR}/APP1/APP1_Trace.log
log4j.appender.TAPP1.preserveLogFileNameExtension=true
log4j.appender.TAPP1.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.TAPP1.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss} %-5p %c{1}:%L - %m%n
log4j.appender.TAPP1.Encoding=UTF-8
log4j.category.org.apache.client.Call=DEBUG
log4j.category.org.apache.axis.transport.http.HTTPSender=DEBUG
log4j.appender.TAPP1.MaxFileSize=10MB
log4j.appender.TAPP1.MaxBackupIndex=5
But for the above same ddlog4j file, It is not writing to systemout.log file in another environment.
Environment :
Appserver : Webconsole 6
dd5

Hi,
I want to develop a snap in, Which triggers the another application at some point of time in the main application.
For example : Main application >> Snap in(Used for Trigger) >> Feedback App >> End
How to develop a snap for this scenario?
I know we can trigger through URL or some other methods, But i want to develop a snap in for this scenario.
Thanks,
Venkoba

Hi ,
I have one reuseable module which is called by two or more parent application. How to disable logs (localddtrace and localapptrace without altering ddrt.properties) for only few parent application and reuseable module for that particular session id(Session id for parent and reuseable module will be same).
Thanks,

Hi,
You can achieve by comparing your variable value using 'EqualsIgnoreCase' to 'true/false'.
like if<var1>EqualsIgnoreCase<true/false>
goto ---
else
goto ---

Thanks wilson.
If there is any built in events how to trace inside the application?.
For custom events like connection.disconnect.hangup/error can occur at any time throughout the application, For that we have to handle it in all data nodes?.
Thanks,

Hi Raj,
If you are using PROMPT_TO_BE_PLAYED as a collection.
Inside the update prompts one line is enough
add(1, new com.avaya.sce.runtime.PhraseVariableElement("promptToBePlayed", com.avaya.sce.runtime.PhraseVariableElement.Type.AUDIO_URL,false));
Thnaks,

Hi Raj,
Inside the loop your making it as a URL right, So instead of variable_text i think you have to use PhraseVariableElement.Type.AUDIO_URL.
